The backhoe combines power and performance with control and feel which allows the operator to carry out even the most arduous of tasks with ease. The loader performance depends on the lift capacity, cycle times and ease of operation. The cycle times should be as low as possible and the loader should be designed in order to make even arduous tasks effortless. A backhoe loader’s design incorporates a single cylinder loader, to give excellent visibility to the bucket and plenty of breakout power, for even the toughest conditions. Usually, you can choose from either a standard or multi-purpose shovel, to suit any application. You can upgrade backhoe loaders with limited-slip mechanical front-wheel drive, and a state-of-the-art cab with multi-position tilt steering wheel and air-suspension armchair seat. 110 TLB The 110 TLB is a backhoe loader that “goes where others won't, to do the tough jobs that others don't.” It’s compact and affordable, probably the most versatile construction-grade backhoe loader in its class. It features a high-torque wet-sleeve POWERTECH™diesel engine, inboard wet-disc brakes. Basically, this backhoe comes equipped, not stripped. It has a fully synchronized torque-converter transmission with electrically actuated reverser, four forward and reverse gears. John Deere 310SG John Deere 310SG is the answer if you need a 14-foot backhoe with extra ability. It weighs 3,500-plus pounds, larger than its 310G sibling and more powerful, as well. The John Deere POWERTECH™ diesel delivers 84 hp and a whopping 38-percent torque rise. You get extra hydraulic muscle at both ends, too. Has 36-gallon-per-minute tandem-pump-powered open-center hydraulic system that delivers increased loader and backhoe breakout and lift capacity. Concerning the extras, the 310SG can be equipped with plenty of options. JCB Midi CX This compact backhoe-loader has a dig depth of 10 feet. It features a 50-hourse power engine, the whole machine weighs 8,000 pounds, so it can be trailered without a CDL. It has a two-speed hydrostatic transmission and is four-wheel drive and two-wheel steer. The front end has a skid-steer-type coupler for attachments; the back end detaches and has a three-point hitch and 20-hp PTO for additional flexibility.
