Bobcat Company is a manufacturer of farm and construction equipment manufactured in West Fargo, Gwinner and Bismarck, North Dakota. It is a division of the Ingersoll-Rand Company since 1995. The company sells skid loaders, compact excavators, compact utility vehicles and other small hydraulic equipment under the Bobcat brand name. Bobcat is a company that focuses on providing innovative solutions for their customers. Bobcat pursues constant improvement in all of their products.

As the name suggests, the Bobcat loader has a loader assembly on the front and a backhoe on the back. It can be used for various tasks: construction, small demolitions, light transportation of building materials, powering building equipment, digging holes, breaking asphalt and paving roads.

A lot has changed since the Bobcat company introduced their first skid-steer loader more than 40 years ago. Each model that comes next, has offered something more than its predecessor. Currently, Bobcat offers three different series — the B100B, B250B and B300D, ranging in weight from the 4865-lb. model B100B to the 8840-lb. model B300D. These versatile machines are built to maneuver in the tightest jobsites. They are small, powerful and reliable at the same time, which makes them perfect for rental centers, municipalities, utility and plumbing contractors, builders and landscapers.

These compact models have smooth, simple-to-operate hydrostatic drive transmissions. There is a joystick so that the operator can control the loader bucket operation, including a loader-arm float function. This innovation result is an easy-to-use unit that enhances the overall productivity of the operator.

Recently, Bobcat introduced the new all-wheel steer loader, a revolutionary compact loader with four steerable axles. The advantages of this new technology are less tire wear, less ground disturbance and less operator fatigue. Those machines allow you to switch from four-wheel steer to skid-steer mode with the bush of a button. The skid-steer mode is used when you want to have the advantages of a compact skid-steer loader. It allows the operator to maneuver in tight spaces, turn the machine within its own length and deliver high performance day in and day out. The joystick controls are state of the art, plus there is an accelerator pedal, enabling a smooth ride so that you can work with ease at the toughest jobsites.

Bobcat also produces mini track loaders - the MT52 and MT55. Those models deliver the performance of a big machine, but in a personal package. They are ideal for limited access and low-disturbance tasks, like landscaping or nursery. Easy to operate. The optional attachments provide comfort and conveniences.
